Choi's Journey in Golf
Golf has been more than just a sport for me—it’s been a lifelong pursuit of excellence, discipline, and passion.
At just 18 years old, I achieved my dream of becoming a professional golfer on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, setting the foundation for my career in competitive golf. To deepen my understanding of the sport, I majored in Sports Science and Golf at Chung-Ang University in South Korea, where I developed a strong grasp of the biomechanics behind the golf swing.
My competitive journey led me to multiple victories, including:
🏆 Winner of the 2018 4th Jump Tour Trophy, earning Class A professional
🏆 Champion of the KLPGA Jump Tour First Division Prize Ranking
🏆 Winner of 2018 Korea University Golf Tournament Team Champion with Chung-Ang University
🏆 Winner of the BUCS 2023 Welsh Trophy, securing gold with a 7-shot lead
Over eight years as a professional golfer, I competed at the highest level, constantly refining my skills and pushing my limits.
In 2024, I took on a new challenge by competing at the LET Q-School, continuing my pursuit of excellence in the sport.
Beyond the course, I expanded my expertise by earning an MSc in International Business Management from Royal Holloway, University of London with Distinction.
Today, I bring my expert knowledge, competitive experience, and passion for golf to YK Golf, helping amateur golfers unlock their full potential.
